Step 1 - Emergency Contact: When you call us, we will ask you several questions in regard to the fire and your building. We will schedule an inspection and answer all your questions. It is helpful to give your insurance a call in advance so you are fully aware of your coverage.
Step 2 - Inspection and Fire Damage Assessment: Your property will be thoroughly inspected by our team. We will assess the damage in each affected room to determine the necessary steps to restore your building back to its pre-loss condition.
Step 3 - Immediate Board-Up and Roof-Tarp Service: Whenever there is a fire in your property, the structure can be compromised. To protect the home against further damage and to maintain the security of the home, we will board up any missing windows, secure walls, and put a tarp on the roof if it is damaged so that the home does not suffer additional water damage.
Step 4 - Drying and Water Removal: If you experienced water damage from firefighting efforts or a roof leak, we will need to clean up excess water and wet contents. Industrial strength dehumidifiers are used to dry out the structure. We may need to open up walls or cut out damaged structures in order to get your building properly repaired.
Step 5 - Remove Soot and Smoke from Surfaces: Our restoration technicians will use various techniques and professional equipment to remove soot and smoke damage from walls, ceilings, as well as the other surfaces of the home. We will deep clean and wipe down your building to make sure smoke is eliminated completely.
Step 6 - Sanitation, Cleaning, and Content Restoration: Any salvageable items will be cleaned and restored. Our team will use industrial air scrubbers to remove odors from the home. It can be overwhelming to decide what to do with contents that have been affected by a fire, water, or smoke damage. We will help you to decide if your contents are salvageable. Our technicians will create an inventory of all the unsalvageable contents for you to receive full reimbursement by your insurance. We will try our best to save items that are of high value to you.
Step 7 - Final Restoration: The rebuild of the affected structures is the final step in the process. The build back process could involve repairs such as painting, replacing drywall, installing new carpet, or even reconstructing a whole room or other areas that were significantly damaged during the fire event.
